We've reached $2.7 million!

 Our thermometer is rising! Thanks to the generosity of individuals, families, businesses and organizations who believe in the future of the Moose Jaw Humane Society, we have now raised $2.7 million toward our $5 million Capital Campaign goal — 54% of the way there.

For decades, our shelter has provided a safe place for homeless and orphaned animals in Moose Jaw and the surrounding area. But our current building, constructed approximately 40 years ago, can no longer provide the modern environment our animals, staff and community need. 

Our new facility will allow us to provide larger animal housing spaces, improved heating and ventilation to help reduce the spread of disease, dedicated adoption spaces, a private and compassionate area for families saying goodbye to a beloved pet, improved food preparation facilities and more room to safely and comfortably care for the animals who need us. 

We have raised $2.7 million, but we still need to raise $2.3 million to make this vision a reality.

There are many ways to be part of our next chapter. Donations can be made directly to the Moose Jaw Humane Society and designated to our Capital Campaign. Donors can also contribute online through the Moose Jaw Humane Society Capital Campaign Fund with Saskatchewan Community Foundation.
